Tax Accountant
Remote (face-to-face meetings with the TUN team required)
Prepare Australian tax returns and support bookkeeping, reconciliations, and cloud accounting records. Remote role; the successful candidate must be willing and able to meet the TUN team face to face.
What you'll be doing
- —Prepare Australian tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- —Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks including tax reconciliations and ledger work.
- —Maintain accurate client records and documentation using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
- —Support business operations and workflow management by proactively flagging issues, responding to requests, and delivering quality work with minimal supervision.
